Older Ships
While each of these ships has undergone extensive refurbishment - including enlargement for most of them - NCL plans to phase these ships out by 2010.
Norwegian Crown Launched in 1988 as the Crown Odessy and acquired by NCL in 1998, this ship is 614 feet long and can carry 1104 passengers. It has been bought by Fred Olsen Cruises, but leased back to NCL until 11/07.
Norwegian Dream Launched in 1992 as Dreamward, it was expanded and refurbished in 1998 and renamed the Norwegian Dream. This ship is 754 feet long and can carry 1748 passengers.
Norwegian Majesty Launched in 1992 as the Royal Majesty for Majesty Cruise Lines, it was was purchased by NCL,expanded and refurbished in 1998 and renamed the Norwegian Majesty. This ship is 680 feet long and can carry 1462 passengers.
Norwegian Spirit Launched in 1998 as the SuperStarLeo for Star Cruises, it was was purchased by NCL and refurbished in 2004 and renamed the Norwegian Spirit. This ship is 880 feet long and can carry 1966 passengers.
SuperStar Class Vessels
Norwegian Star Launched in 2001, this ship is 965 feet long and can carry 2240 passengers.
Norwegian Sun Launched in 2001, this ship is 848 feet long and can carry 2002 passengers.
Norwegian Dawn Launched in 2002, this ship is 965 feet long and can carry 2224 passengers.
Norwegian Jewel Launched in 2005, this ship is 965 feet long and can carry 2376 passengers.
Norwegian Pearl Launched in 2006, this ship is 965 feet long and can carry 2394 passengers.
Norwegian Gem Due to be launched in October of 2007, this ship isis the newest of the NCL fleet.
NCL America
Pride of Aloha Launched in 1999 as the Norwegian Sky, it was renamed the Pride of Aloha in 2004 after it was moved to the Hawaiian islands and retrofitted for freestyle cruising. This ship is 853 feet long and can carry 2002 passengers.
Pride of America Launched in 2005, this ship is 920 feet long and can carry 2146 passengers.
Pride of Hawaii Launched in 2006, this ship is 965 feet long and can carry 2224 passengers. It will be redeployed to Europe as the Norwegian Jade in the spring of 2008, after it undergoes some renovations, including the addition of a casino.
